About Guary & Cleyton
Brothers Cristian Mendez (Guary) and Cleyton Mendez began their musical career in January of 1998. Recording and performing together at different colleges in their hometown of Providence. The group developed and a strong enough following to create a greater demand for live performances. They soon began performing at local Latin Festivals as well as making special appearances on local radio and television. taking over the airwaves. Source Magazine took notice and featured the group in an article praising them for their success as independent artists. Their success as Writers and producers had won Guary and Cleyton a distinguished reputation within the Hurban community. The brothers were quickly called upon to collaborate with artists such as D.O.S.E from Fulanito (Vacaneria), Henry Jimenez (Homeboys), Psyco-les from The Beatnuts, Tego Calderon, El Jeffrey (Mi Vida), Mayra Veronica, Nelly (El Arma Secreta), Magic juan, Mala Fe (Me Libere), Zion, Julian (Oro Duro), Puerto Rican Power, Rafy Melendez, Og black & Master Joe, Wilfrido Vargas, Grupo Canela, DJ Camilo (LIBERTAD MIXTAPE), La Chant for Neta for (el Vacilon la mega 97.9 FM). Their upcoming album debut titled "INTERNATIONAL FLOW" is scheduled for release spring 2007 under J&N/SONY/BMG "It's a Rap Records" and features a mix of reggaeton fused with bachata, merengue and cumbia. A definite highlight on Guary and Cleyton is En Sueños.. a mellow R&B track with a reggaeton featuring El Jefrey. Also featuring artists such as Fulanito and Og Black.
