About GARNET CROW

GARNET CROW is a Japanese band from the Osaka-based label Giza Studio. Their music could pass through soft rock, pop, blues and a bit of progressive, giving birth to a sophisticated sound. It has four members: two members play the keyboards (Azuki Nana and Furui Hirohito), Okamoto Hitoshi (who also has two solo albums) plays the guitar, and Yuri Nakamura does vocals with a beautiful, deep and mature voice. Azuki Nana is the band's lyricist. The band was formed in 1999, and released an indie album the same year. In 2000, they were signed by Giza Studios. In 2002 they achieved success and recognition with the song "Yume Mita Ato de", which became their first Top 10 single in Japan. On March 30, 2013, after 34 singles, 10 albums, 1 mini-album and 5 compilations the band announced their disbandment. On June 9, 2013 the band played their final concert.
