About GOLD LION
‘Gold Lion’. It is an alternative rock music band formed in 2009. The band consists of four members: a drummer, a violinist, a guitarist and a bassist/vocalist. The band has already achieved a great success locally and has become popular with young people. The band has also achieved an international appreciation by taking part in various projects, festivals and charitable events in Poland, Bulgaria and Latvia. All young musicians are still school students, but their aim is to relate the future career perspectives to music. The band is already a laureate of the singing poetry competition in Poland. The biggest project the band took part in is the Balkan Youth Festival held in Bulgaria, in which bands from eight European countries like France, Spain, Bulgaria, Latvia, Romania, Lithuania, the UK and Turkey took part. The band members participated in the workshops and had to demonstrate their ability to remake folk songs of other nations and adapt to the style of music they are playing.
