About Gemini Syndrome
Gemini Syndrome is an American alternative metal band formed in 2010 in Los Angeles. The band consists of vocalist Aaron Nordstrom, drummer Brian Steele Medina, bassist Alessandro “AP” Paveri, and guitarist Miguel “Meegs” Rascón. The band released its debut album, “Lux”, in September 2013. The album received attention within the alternative metal scene and drew comparisons to bands such as Mudvayne, Five Finger Death Punch, and Tool. It produced several singles, including “Pleasure and Pain”, “Left of Me”, “Basement”, and “Stardust”. “Stardust” reached number 19 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Their second album, “Memento Mori”, was released in August 2016 and reached number 1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart. The album produced multiple singles, including “Eternity”, “Anonymous”, “Alive Inside”, “Sorry Not Sorry”, and “Remember We Die”. “Remember We Die” reached number 24 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and remained on the chart for 20 weeks. In 2017, guitarist Miguel “Meegs” Rascón, formerly of Coal Chamber, joined the band, replacing Daniel Sahagún and Charles Lee Salvaggio. In 2018, the band toured in the United States with the band Messer. In 2019, they announced that a new album was in development, with a lead single planned for release in 2020. Their third album, “3rd Degree – The Raising”, was released in 2021. It included the previously released singles “Die with Me”, “IDK”, and “Reintegration”, as well as the single “Abandoned”. In 2025, former band member Mike Salerno died, and the band released a tribute video featuring the song “Stardust”. The same year, the single “Lucid” was released as part of promotion for an upcoming album titled “Origin: From Nothingness to Everything”, whose release date had not yet been finalized as of 2025.
