Farmertan is an indie/alternative rock quartet from Connecticut. Farmertan has been making music and playing venues throughout the Northeastern United States since the early 1990's. Farmertan's members, in alphabetical order, and what they do: Paul Daddario: Vocals, Guitar Mike Fitzgerald: Guitar, Vocals Matt Galvin: Bass Guitar Jim Plouffe: Drums Farmertan is centered near and closely linked with the Venerable Waterbury, Connecticut Record Store "Brass City Records." Farmertan has shared the stage with Mike Watt, the Lily's, Apples in Stereo, Bright Eyes, Archers of Loaf as well as many other local and national acts. Farmertan plays indie rock music,(called "alternative" in Britain). Farmertan has been compared to the Replacements, Buffalo Tom, Guided By Voices, Pavement, the Foo Fighters, The leamonheads and Dinosaur, jr.
