In 1965 she debuted in the Sanremo Festival with "Nessuno mi può giudicare", a song refused by Adriano Celentano, scoring a notable success. The song "Nessuno mi può giudicare" is featured in Nanni Moretti movie "La Stanza del figlio" ("The Son's Room" - Winner of the Golden Palm in 2001 Cannes Film Festival).
