There are several musical artists known by the name Bitch: 1. Bitch is a heavy metal band formed in the 1980s and based in Los Angeles, California. The group gained attention for incorporating S&M themes in both their image and lyrical content. The current lineup includes vocalist Betsy Weiss, also known as Betsy Bitch, guitarists Steve Kara and Jay Dean, and bassist Steve Gaines. 2. Bitch is also the stage name of a musician who was part of the Detroit-based progressive folk duo Bitch and Animal. After the duo disbanded in 2004, Bitch released the solo project "Make This/Break This" and has since performed under the name Bitch + the Exciting Conclusion. 3. Bitch is additionally the name of a gabber dance act from Falun, Sweden.
