About BSOD
BSOD, standing for Better Sounding on Drugs, is an electro house duo formed in 2005 featuring Steve Duda and Joel Zimmerman, otherwise known as deadmau5. The project began as a playful experiment, satirizing the dance and electronic music scene with their debut "This Is The Hook". Having topped the Beatport charts in 2006, BSOD then released a debut album named "Pay Here to Click" in 2007. After a long hiatus, BSOD returned in 2020 with the "No Way, Get Real" EP, and followed up with an extended mix, "No Way, Not Another Mix, Get Real". Although BSOD hasn’t released new music since then, Joel Zimmerman and Steve Duda remain friends and continue to share a professional and personal bond through their collaborations.
