1. HARDCORE, STRAIGHT EGE and SOCIALIST band from Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). Active from 1997 to 2002 with two long albums recorded. Its musical style is like bands such as Refused or Snapcase. https://archive.org/details/prtd201401 2. Dark Ambient project created in 1999 by Magnus Zetterberg in Uppsala, Sweden. Moving through the fields of dark ambient, noise, industrial, electro-acoustical and others without limitations for over ten years Manifesto has evolved, matured and established itself in this musical environment and will continue to do so. Studied sound engineering, earning a bachelor of arts degree in sound and music production. Musically been active in the dark ambient and industrial field for about ten years using various monikers of which Manifesto has been the primary one for the past years. Unafraid to ditch the fuzz on-everything-approach, Manifesto tip their hats to the melodic aplomb of mid-'70s American pop radio outfits (Big Star, Todd Rundgren, the Raspberries), much as Teenage Fan Club have (but with far less reverence), with sound and mannerisms plucked from early-'80s electro-land. All served up with shimmering pop melodies and sweet sixties white boy soul harmonies. 4. From a small yet acoustically viable room in Shoreditch emanates an ever evolving melee of nuanced funk and alt’ rock eclecticism courtesy of a smart new four-piece. Manifesto, formed in January 2010, are currently rousing the UK live scene, getting frequent airplay from XFM “the more I listen to them the better they get” (John Kennedy, XFM Xposure) and working hard to keep up with a flow of ideas. 5. Manifesto are a 'luxury disco pop' 7 piece group based in London. A unique mix of the grooves from early disco and soul, punchy horn lines, and the danceability and addictive hooks of modern pop. Their music is the soundtrack for a new lifestyle, the Manifesto. Its principles state 'an eloquent charm will be rewarded in kind.' By following the Manifesto's policies on attitude, attire, and adventure, people can adopt a lifestyle that separates them from the uncouth stereotype that dominates this generation. Manifesto truly come into their own at their live shows, where their energetic stage presence never fails to turn each gig into an unforgettable party. By creating this atmosphere, everybody leaves having experienced the Manifesto in it's purest form, spreading the power of the pocket square.
