About Honey Boy

Honeyboy (Keith Williams), born in St Elizabeth, Jamaica. Joined his father and family in England at an early age. Was educated at Oxford and in his teens, went to live in London where he attended Mount View Theatre School of Acting. His music career began in '71 when he recorded his debut single for Trojan Records (titled Jamaica). The follow up tracks ''Sweet Cherrie/Impossible Love'' for Creole Records, was a massive success for him. As a freelance, he started recording for various companies and his album for Third world titled ''LOVERS'' defined a new rock steady beat/sound which was later called ''Lovers Rock''. As an actor, he would take time out from recording to do Theatre work and has performed in several musicals / plays throughout the UK. Honeyboy is also an accomplished song writer, instrumentalist and producer. He is now residing in Brazil and actively recording and producing Brazilian artists .
