About knopha
Born in the southern Chinese city Guangzhou, Knopha grew up in the heart of the old city under the influence of his father’s love for Whitney Houston. During high school, around the time of his parents’ separation, he and his friends formed a crew, discovered sampling, and toyed with FL Studio. The moniker Knopha stuck because people often had trouble pronouncing his name, Noah. After a stint in Melbourne, he settled in Xiamen, Fujian province, where he has been working as a graphic designer since 2014. He has been releasing EPs since 2017.
