She has signed a 900 000$ record deal with Atlantic Records and will release her first full-length album. According to the Country Strong Songfacts, Paltrow did not know how to play the guitar before she filmed Country Strong and had to learn how to strum the strings convincingly pretty quickly. Paltrow is married to Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay. In 2006 British newspaper The Sun reported Paltrow has been writing and recording a series of tracks with William Orbit, but no album came to pass.
