Enjoy is an indie art-punk music project and solo endeavor developed by Wyatt Shears in Orange, California. The project originated in 2011 with early experimental self-released recordings. In 2012, Enjoy released its first full-length compilation record, Gold, which included tracks such as “Terrific As Terrific Gets” and “Gold”. In 2025, Enjoy released its 16th studio album, The Sound of Deceit, featuring songs including “Slip of the Memory” and “Drift”, following the 2023 album Exploited. The sound created for Enjoy has been described as bass-driven and experimental, often associated with a distinctive “romantic California punk” style shaped by Wyatt Shears’ production approach and instrumentation. The project has also been connected to the Orange County DIY alternative music scene and is known for its extensive output over more than a decade. Shears is also widely known for his work in The Garden, the duo he forms with his twin brother Fletcher Shears. Enjoy has been covered in publications such as Dazed, which described Wyatt Shears as reshaping elements of Californian punk.
