About Agonistic Resemblance
From deep within the delta region of Northern California, Agonistic Resemblance emerges, bringing their own style of hip-hop tinged metal into view for the entire world to see. Established in 1996 as the brainchild of two best friends, Agonistic Resemblance has developed into much more than the average stereotypical garage band. When Agonistic Resemblance takes the stage, energy pulsates revving the crowd to a fevered pitch. The all-original music of Agonistic Resemblance is built on a passion and energy that moves both the body and the mind of its captive audience. Agonistic Resemblance is comprised of four members: Nino DeLaRosa – Vocals, Jeremiah Baldwin – Guitar, Matt Howell – Bass, and Jesse Rivera – Drums. "A.R. is a hip-hop driven, bouncy rhythm, bob your head and move your body style of music at it's peak, that gets the crowd both moving (dare I say dancing) and moshing at the same time. DeLaRosa drives the crowd attention and interaction with his constant movement, energy and passion for the music A.R. pumps out for each set. Along with the Heavy guitar tone, and intricate consistent bass lines, A.R. is quite an impressive showing for sure. These guys are a solid band without question. Always entertaining to see, and definitely worth a look, especially for those rap-core/metal fans." -Mario Perotti (founder, editor-in-chief, Powerslave.com)
