Zigfrīds Muktupāvels is a popular Latvian singer, violinist, songwriter, also a MicRec producer. From 1987 to 1991 Zigfrīds was a violinist, singer and key board player of the band Zodiaks, since 1991 he is a member of the band Bet bet, where is not only a performer, but also song writer. Most popular and important are - Tava sirds, Tā paiet dzīve, Vakara vējā, Kāpēc man nav sarkans mersedess, Tu esi, Tagad ir tā. Muktupāvels has also taken part in various theatre spectacles and rock operas. In 2002 was released his solo album "Violets", where he performs Jānis Lūsēns songs, written specially for him.
