About Zentex
Zentex is finnish producer Jari Marjamäki. Born in Turku, Finland, he's lived since the early 90's in Lisbon, Portugal. He began his career in the mid-nineties, first as a programmer and producer with local indie bands, and later as a solo artist and a dj. With his Zentex alias he concentrates mainly in expressing his own vision of minimalist techno sound. He has released his music in Cologne based labels Traumschallplatten and Kickboxer(Boxer Recordings), Berlin's Resopal Red, as well as on portuguese Bloop recordings imprint. His releases have been remixed by such names as Alex Under, Gui Boratto and Cosmic Sandwich, and he has remixed names like Jussipekka(Pokerflat) and Antalgic(Bloop). He has adapted this project into a fully featured one-man live act, and has since performed in some of the major events, including festivals Numero Festival, UMF festival (Finland), Boom Festival, SBSR, Optimushype, Blue Spot, as well as major clubs like The Loft (Barcelona), Lux (Lisbon), Industria(Porto) and Pachá (Ofir).(source:http://www.zentexmusic.com)
