Members: Al MacDowell, Zulema Cusseaux Al MacDowell Real Name: Albert Edward MacDowell III Profile: Producer, writer and multi-instrumentalist based in New Haven, Connecticut. Soloist with The Ornette Coleman Quartet since May 1976 and leader/founder of Al MacDowell's Just Ornette Quartet since March 2010. Worked with house label Subliminal between May 2001 and July 2007. Runs Altech Records and Altech Studios in Queens, New York City. Zulema Real Name: Zulema Cusseaux Profile: American soul funk disco boogie singer - songwriter. Born 3 January 1947 in Tampa, Florida. Died 30 September 2013. Along with Brenda Hilliard, she joined the 5 Crystals. The two of them created the trio Lovelles, with Albert Bailey. Then producer Van McCoy changed their name to Faith, Hope & Charity. After she left the group she started a successful solo career with eight albums between 1972 & 1978.
