About ZAKOPAWER
Zakopower is a Polish band founded by a violinist Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka. They combine traditional folk music of Polish Gorals with electronic and pop music. The name of the band refers to the band leader’s hometown, Zakopane, situated in the Tatra mountains. They were nominated for Best Polish Act at the 2005 MTV Europe Music Awards.
