About YOKOVICH
Portuguese quartet YOKOVICH is a Metal/Alternative act, bound to reflect their rugged individualism connected to modern-day social and political issues. Formed in the fall of 2021 in Lisbon by guitarist Miguel Sousa, his musical vision was to blend heavy Industrial character with melodic soundscapes and textures. This sonic mix caught the attention of his ex-bandmate and bassist Bruno Gomez, who soon joined the project and helped further develop this idea. The concept launched into something even more refined upon the arrival of Jonas as lead vocalist, whose voice and lyrics brought an undeniably deep sense of purpose to the project, pushing it to yet another level, until the addition of young drummer Manu who by way of rhythmic power closed the circle, officially bringing the band to life by the end of that year.
