About Yakka
One of the Croatian’s most successful young house producers is rising continuously, even on world’s house scene. His first official release has been signed for one of the leading Italian labels, Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect Records. Only 1 year later, he’s already on compilation “Finest NY House 2011″ (King Street Sounds) with some of the leading names in industry like Dennis Ferrer, Barbara Tucker, Tiger Stripes, Frankie Knuckles, Kerric Chandler, Crazibiza, DJ PP and many others. Today he collaborates with hitmakers like Gary Caos, Phil Fuldner, DJ PP – worldwide house producers signed to top house labels. Hiphop beats were his first producing material and after few years of experimenting with other music genres, he finally found himself in house music. Classic house, disco uplifting, jackin, deep and tech house are sub-genres where his productions belong and there is no suffering for trends in mainstream electronic music, so you won’t find any electro, dubstep, dutch, big room and similar styles in his tracks. Love for true house sound is resulting with releases on legendary NY label King Street Sounds / Nite Grooves / Street King where you can find most of his recent work. Beatality Records is his own digital record label which gives opportunity to young less known producers in region (Croatia, Serbia, BiH, Hungary) to release quality house sound. Label is promoting house, jackin, funky, deep, tech, chillout sound and anyone with good tracks is welcome to send demos and to get signed! If you want to hear him live, you can check his residency place, Cocktail bar EXIT (Nova Gradiska, CRO) where he’s playing almost every Saturday. Besides that, there are various events in Croatia where he’s performing as a guest DJ and sets are various, depending on crowd, it can go from easy going deep/ tech to the harder tech or progressive.
