About Wrupk Urei

Wrupk Urei is an Estonian rock group from Tartu, Estonia that has been playing together in varied line-ups since 2004. During its existence the band has played about 50 gigs, the biggest until now has been its appearance in July 2008 at the Schilling Festival of Beautiful Music in Kilingi-Nõmme. In its music Wrupk Urei attempts to synthesize jazz-rock, funk, electronic dance music, samba and everything else that goes around and between these styles. Wrupk Urei has been associated with a special jazz-rock wave gaining ground in Estonian alternative rock music scene during the last few years that has been referred to as "Tartu neofusion". Current members: Siim Randveer - guitars, vocals; Lauri Randveer - bass; Jane Aus - saxophones; Kaspar Aus - keyboards, vocals; Martin Tamm - drums.
