Wings Of Azrael was a post-hardcore band from Greensburg/Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Their debut EP, 'Suspension Of Disbelief' (in stores May 4th on Bridgeport Entertainment, Inc.) proves these statements beyond a shadow of a doubt. The band mixes emotionally charged and honest lyrics with the potent stench of hardcore and extreme dynamics within the music itself. This drags and shakes the listener through a wide variety of feelings. Everything from anger, fear, revenge, and loss, to even hope and love are conveyed in abundance. In their relatively short existence, Wings Of Azrael has worked hard to prove that they are a band that is passionate about what they do. Playing shows with many well-known artists such as: Boys Night Out, Coheed And Cambria, Silverstein, The Bled, Saosin, Spitalfield, Bear Vs. Shark, Haste, and even a small tour with Epitaph recording artists Matchbook Romance has earned the band a large and steadily growing fan-base. Consistent increase of album pre-orders and sale statistics on various online stores such as Interpunk.com indicate the band’s expanding popularity within the music community. Neither the members of Wings Of Azrael or Bridgeport Entertainment are showing any signs of slowing down. Being Bridgeport’s debut release, they are pushing the album with every ounce of energy they have. Bridgeport has been in business for over three years, booking tours, doing graphic and web design, and even promoting concerts in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region booking bands like The All-American Rejects, The Early November, As I Lay Dying, and Mae. From late Spring into the early Fall, several tours are scheduled for Wings Of Azrael to support the release of the album. This also includes a handful of dates on the 2004 Van’s Warped Tour. Advertisements will be printed in various magazines and banner ads will be on many music related websites. Also, “Ceramic”, the first single from the album will be featured on 40,000 Orange Peal Records sampler CDs, which will be distributed at various festivals throughout the year. Orange Peal Records will also be distributing the album on every date of this summer’s Warped Tour.
