When Darren first started phone-pranking people three years ago, he was armed with only a handset and a set of countrywide telephone directories. 1000 days on, he's upgraded his weapons. he's using mobile as well as fixed line technology. He's got sound effects and mini-disc. And most importantly, by selling naked pictures of his Daschund, he's managed to buy the all-important voice processor which manages to take his reedy, whiney, Whackhead voice and deepen it to Sean Connery one day, and lighten it to Dolly Parton the next.
