Vuokko Hovatta (b. Sept. 2, 1972, Espoo) is a Finnish actress and a singer. She became known in Finland as a member of the popular, now defunct, band Ultra Bra. After releasing five full-length albums Ultra Bra dissolved in 2001. Hovatta continued her singing career by forming the band Tekniikan Ihmelapset, out of which came one album Syntymäpäivä in 2004. Hovatta's first solo album, Lempieläimiä, came out in 2008. Her sophomore effort Liaani was released in 2010. Hovatta graduated from the prestigious Theatre Academy in Helsinki in 1999, and is now working there as an actress.
