Hailing from Remscheid, Germany, Modern metallers VOIDEMOLITION have been inspired by everyone from Bury Tomorrow, As I Lay Dying, and Avenged Sevenfold, through to Jinjer, Trivium, Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine and more. With a broad diversity of tastes and a prominent nod to multiple metal genres, VOIDEMOLITION have cultivated a unique and striking signature sound that boosts riffs that are both progressive and insanely captivating, melodic and guttural vocals that draw in the senses, and venom and guile in equal measure. The ascending alt-metallers were born in 2015 by original founding members, drummer Dominik Wietrzykowski and lead vocalist, David Dannenberg. The band’s early years were plighted by changes in personnel, however the riff merchants soon recovered, releasing their official debut EP, Arise, which clearly illustrated VOIDEMOLITION’s manifesto. With a settled line-up also including Richard Hetze (bass, backing vocals), Björn Dröse (rhythm guitar), and Timo Gerhardt (lead guitar & backing vocals), the metal crew continued their charge with the successful release of 2019’s Hate Me single. This record was also followed by this year’s blistering single, Whiteout. Consecutive live shows and the support of the German media has assisted with the band’s upward surge.
