About Vodka Juniors

Vodka Juniors (usually refered to as: Vodkes, the Juniors or VJ) is a hardcore punk band formed in Athens back in 2000. Band consists of: Dirty Harry (vocals / guitar), Kostis Jr. (guitar / vocals), Fudukis (bass) and Ramirez (drums). Their first release was a demo cassette in 2000 called "No Drinks for You". Since then, their next releases that were followed were under the recording label of Cannonball 666 Records. Their music style is a mixture of hardcore punk of 80's, melodic elements, happy / joyful choruses and fast galloping drums. Over the years they've toured Europe and Greece, playing among names like, Propagandhi, Agnostic Front, Lagwagon, Therapy?, etc. In 2008, Vodka Juniors released their most known album effort, Dark Poetry. This album as VJ have said is a dub / acoustic / surf / rock side project. VJ arranged a Romanian Tour for 2010, celebrating their 10 years of existence as a band. Near the end of 2013, they started a crowdfunding project at kickstarter, asking people to fund the recordings of their upcoming work called Clubriot. A sampler of Clubriot was uploaded from January 2015, while the full 3-disc LP was finally available for download on April 22nd, 2015. http://www.vodkajuniors.com/ http://www.facebook.com/vodkajuniors http://vodkajuniors.bandcamp.com
