Viktim is a brutal industrial strength bio-terror unit from new jersey. formed in 1996 as a solo project viktim has grown over the years through various incarnations to the stomping shredding, dance metal machine that it is today. Disco Death? Cyber Metal? Industrial Rock? Coldwave? It is hard to pin down a genre, with sounds spreading across the spectrum, however it is easiest to point out influences, and you can listen to viktim and find out for yourself their sound. Influences Copshootcop, Slayer, Prong, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Big Black, KMFDM, Front Line Assembly, Biohazard, pantera, viktim is currently working on their as yet untitled new cd, which follows a natural progression from the sound sculpted in the As love Turns Grey cds. A typical viktim live show involves a full band on stage, live drums, keyboards, samples, vocals, two guitar players, a bass player, sparks flying from angle grinders, tits, ass and rock n roll Expect more brutality, bigger than life hooks, crunching guitars, searing solos, pounding industrial rhythms, and sparks flying.
