About Vigilance
There are at least three bands named Vigilance. 1. A speed/heavy metal band from Slovenia (active from 2010 to present) 2. A German progressive metal band (active from 1993 to 1999-something) 3. A heavy metal band from Issaquah, Washington (active from 1986-?, 2006-?) 1. Vigilance ( https://vigilanceofficial.bandcamp.com/ ) is old school speed/black metal band from Slovenia. Strongly influenced by bands like the old Maiden, Satan, Angel Witch, Tank, Vendom, old Bathory and Exciter, the founding members Gilian Adam(ex-Rager) and Tine Kaluža started jamming in April of 2010. About a month later, Anže Stegel joined them on bass. Teamed up, the band started working on their material and in late 2010 recorded a demo. Short after, just before the first gig Jakob Rejec took the vocal duties from Gilian. On 15th of October Vigilance released an EP entitled Steeds of Time at Haliaetum Records. The band released their debut full length, Queen of the Midnight Fire, in 2013. The band was recently picked up by the German labels Dying Victims Productions and Witches Brew, who will release their sophomore full length album, Hounds of Megiddo, in 2015. In 2017, the band released their third album, Hammer of Satan's Vengeance. In 2018, guitarist Rok Kalister left the band and was replaced by Anej Buonassisi from Morbid Creation. In 2019, the band released their fourth album, Enter the Endless Abyss. Current members: Gilian - guitars & vocals Tine - drums Anej - guitars Andrej - bass 2. No information about this Vigilance, except that they were from Germany and they were a progressive metal band that were active from 1993-1999. 3. Vigilance were a heavy metal band from Issaquah, Washington and formed in 1986. They wrote songs about Christianity. They disbanded at an unknown point in time and then came back in 2006. Then they disbanded again and also at unknown point in time. They only released a self-titled demo in 1987.
