Valesca Reis Santos, better known as Valesca Popozuda, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, dancer and businesswoman. She was the lead singer of the girl group Gaiola das Popozudas between 2000 and 2012, being considered one of the precursors of funk carioca in the early 2000s with Tati Quebra Barraco. In 2012, she went solo and, the following year, released the song "Beijinho no Ombro", a national success. Valesca is considered the "Queen of funk carioca".
