Ansambel "VSP Projekt" loodi 1986-nda aasta kevadel. Grupi kontserttegevus on olnud juhuslikku laadi, kuna kõik liikmed mängivad intensiivselt teistes ansamblites. Olulisemaks väljundiks on niisiis stuudiotöö ehk teisisõnu konreetselt käesolev plaat. Kummalisel kombel ühildub "VSP Projekti" muusikas rockile igiomane avatud emotsionaalsus teatava distantsitunnetuse ja võõrandumisega. Tundub, nagu registreeritaks ühtaegu nii üksildase nägija poolt vaadeldav objekt (inimtühi suurlinn, lõputu lumelagendik ergavas päikeses või mis iganes tahes) kui ka nägija oma, ainult talle omane, ainukordne suhe vaadeldavasse objekti. Ansambli kitarrist ja helilooja Riho Sibul usub, et nende loomingu palge määrab põhjamaine elutunnetus ja tõsiasi, et rockmuusika ongi nende olemisviis. The group VSP Project was founded in spring, 1986. However, the concert activity of the group has been rather sporadic since all the members play in other groups as well. So the most significant output for the group is work in the studio, or to be more particular the present album. Oddly enough, the music that VSP Project makes combines in a way the emotional openness inherent in rock music with a sense of distance and even alienation. It seems as both the object observed by a lonely spectator (a metropolis empty of people, an endless field of snow in the brightly glowing sun, or anything else) as well as the relation of the spectator to the observed object, peculiar to him, a unique relation, are being registered. It is the group's guitarist and composer Riho Sibul who believes their work is shaped by a northern view of life and the fact that rock music has become their way of existence. And it is likely that the present album may produce different feelings in each listener, may give him a chance to wander on secret paths of his intellectual and emotional world on which he rarely dares to tread.
