About Vítkovo kvarteto
Vitkovo kvarteto was found in 1982 in Prague, by Petr 'Grandpa' Mráz (lg), Jiří 'Uncle' Růžek (voc), Rosťa Hapl (voc, bg), Jan Šulc (ex-Žentour, voc, g) and Benjamin Vítek who contributed by his name name to the group name. They started to play rock/big beat music and were making it just for fun. They put together funny lyrics/hard rock/ska/70's rock rhymns and have begun new Czech wave - crazy rock. Also wearing weird clothes (for exmaple: knickerbockers, coat and parachute beret) and making incoprehensible lectures suddenly in the middle of a concert. Their repertory was composed of nearly 30 songs. They've written them have two tests, noticed they can play it and from 1982 on riding through clubs. There've become one of the Czech best live-performance band.
