About UNS E OUTROS

Uns e Outros is a Brazilian alternative rock band formed in 1983 in Rio de Janeiro. As of 2023, the band had over 90,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and over 160,000 monthly views on YouTube. Career The band became nationally known for the singles "Carta aos Missionários" and "Dias Vermelhos", both released in 1989 , from their second album. After a time away from the mainstream, the band went through changes and released the album Canções de Amor e Morte, in 2006, which received critical acclaim, mainly for the singles "Um Dia de Cada Vez" and "Depois do Temporal". The album features a re-recording of "Dia Branco", by Geraldo Azevedo. In 2015, the band released their first live album, Uns e Outros ao Vivo, recorded on November 19, 2010; from which "Perdendo Vida" was released, featuring Bruno Gouveia from Biquini Cavadão. The show was originally recorded to be a DVD, but was canceled due to technical problems with some images and was only released on CD in 2015. In 2020, the band re-released the single "Pros que Estamos em Casa", by the group Hojerizah, from 1987. In 2021, the band was one of the attractions of the itinerant project Rock Brasil - 40 Anos. That year, in February, guitarist Nilo Nunes left the band and vocalist Marcelo Hayena became the only remaining member of the original lineup. In 2022, with a new guitarist, the band released the singles "Balada da Redenção" (Marcelo Hayena, Bruno Gouveia and Darlan Castro) and "O Idiota" (Marcelo Hayena, Darlan Castro and Alek Honse) and their respective music videos on YouTube. After a year of hard work and resuming shows after the Covid-19 pandemic, the band started 2024 with the release of the single "A Verdade está retorno" (A Verdade está retorno) (Marcelo Hayena and Darlan Castro) and the music video directed by Rafael Ramos on the band's official YouTube channel. On June 21, 2024, the band released the single "Mais", a re-recording of the song by Alvin L., Dinho Ouro Preto and Kiko Zambianchi, originally recorded by Capital Inicial in 2002.
