About Underdog Project Vs Sunclub

The Underdog Project is a German dance music group that launched its debut album, "It Doesn't Matter", in 2001. The group is known for its international dance-pop and Eurodance-influenced sound, with notable songs including "Summer Jam", "Saturday" and "Tonight". It consists of four members: Vic Krishna (vocals), Craig Smart (vocals), DJ Frank (remixes) and AJ Duncan (keyboards). The group was formed after Canadian artist Vic Krishna visited Germany, where he participated in a jam session with Canadian singer Craig Smart and the production team ToneDef and Triple S. Following this collaboration, the participants began recording material, initially consisting of demo recordings as well as completed tracks. Once sufficient material had been developed, it was compiled into the album "It Doesn't Matter". The song "Summer Jam" became the group’s most successful release and achieved widespread popularity across Europe. It reached number 2 on the German singles chart and received heavy rotation on German pop radio stations. The track also gained exposure in the United Kingdom and the United States, including support from music television channels such as MTV Germany and VIVA. In the United States, radio stations including WKTU in New York City and Power 96 in Miami added the song to their playlists. In Italy, "Summer Jam" entered the top 20 of the pop charts. The track was released with multiple remix versions aimed at different club and dance music audiences. These included the "Dance Movement Extended Mix" by Max Maroldo of Nitelite Records, a 2-step garage remix titled "DJ Wickel's 2-Step Mix", a trance-oriented version titled "Greenfields Pancake Jam", and several progressive house mixes including the "Free Heads Club Mix" and "Free Heads Dub". Over time, additional remixes were produced by various remixers to broaden the track’s appeal in club settings. The group’s single "Saturday" should not be confused with "Saturday Night", which was released two years after the album "It Doesn't Matter".
