About UNITCODE:MACHINE

unitcode:machine started in 2000, by Eric Kristopher; after a long run with the band Xero. It is a project that focuses on attempting to bring back the harsh industrial sound while grabbing on to Synthpop roots. This is a self made genre called "Noise-Pop". It is a combination of Harsh EBM, Industrial, IDM, Noise, and Synthpop. In September of 2003 oh god joined(xero, xero:minimal, non-entity, forgot it) as the live guitarist and currently has a revolving cast of synth players. U:M has released one CD (time/frame) and is currently working on a new album which almost complete. Mr. K is also working with Awen a neo-folk group out of Dallas. U:M Have performed with a variety of band including Sister Machine Gun, Terrorfakt, Manufactura, SVD, and many others and has recently played Synthfest 2004 and has completed a small southwest and western tour.
