The Traveling Suitcase, (aka Nicole Rae & The Traveling Suitcase), are a rock band from Oshkosh Wisconsin, USA. They are Nicole Rae aka QUEEN Z on vocals and acoustic guitar, Patrick Boyce aka STAGGER on acoustic and electric guitar, Brandon Domer aka JIMMY THE VET on bass and keys, and Rob Murphy aka BARON CLYDE STEAM on drums. They recorded their first full length album, “All My Friends” in Northern Wisconsin at a cabin in 6 days over the 4th of July weekend 2011. On the last day of recording they “made the ‘intelligent’ move of recording a perfomance inside of a garage during a thunderstorm. Knowing the danger and risk but weighing her chances lead singer Nicole Rae decided to do it.The storm seemed to play along with the track perfectly, the feeling was beautiful to say the least ‘electrifying’. As the boys came from the cabin to rejoice the moment with Nicole they watched her get hit…I don’t think any of us will forget the noise or the light…It all started with Nicole getting hit by lightning.”
