At least two sets of artists use this name. The Latin disco combo known as the Gibson Brothers is composed of Chris, Patrick, and Alex Gibson of Martinique, who began recording in 1976. They have released fourteen albums and numerous EPs. The upstate New York bluegrass group known as the Gibson Brothers is really brothers and a father-and-son team. The brothers are writer, banjoist, and vocalist Eric Gibson and writer, guitarist, and vocalist Leigh Gibson. The father-and-son team is Junior Barber on Resophonic guitar and son Mike Barber on acoustic bass.
