About The Tonk
Tonk formed in late 2005 with the sole purpose of having a good time. Members Jinks (vocals), Wayne and steve (guitars), Tristan (drums) and Mikey (bass) spent the next year playing local gigs and gathering a following building their reputation. In June 2007 they released their first album through sony BMG, Sister Switchblade which was well received among fans. Wayne is planning to leave the band at the begining of Feruary 2008. Tonk have shared the stage with: The Butterfly Effect, Shihad, Mammal, Airbourne, Karnivool, Screaming Jets and Jimmy Barnes to name a few.
