Acoustic Alchemy keyboardist Terry Disley - touring / recording keyboardist and composer on 2 Grammy nominated CD’s for Alchemy, Terry also worked on studio & live projects with Bryan Ferry, Van Morrison, Madness, Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Jon Bon Jovi, Sir Mick Jagger, Tom Jones, was musical director for Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) for 5 years and worked on 5 major motion picture scores. He received Young Jazz Musician of the Year award and has played with many of the finest jazz musicians in the world including Eddie Henderson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Urbie Green and Carmen Lundi, and opened shows for jazz giants McCoy Tyner, Cedar Walton, Jimmy Heath, Monty Alexander and Miles Davis. Now concentrating exclusively on the Terry Disley Experience his career and status as a solo artist continues to grow. The group debuted at the Lake Tahoe Jazz Festival and went on to play the Catalina Island Jazz Festival and the Sonoma Jazz Festival. All shows received rave reviews. The San Francisco based Terry Disley Experience is a brilliant fun and dynamic 5 piece All-Star Jazz group with a contemporary approach playing original compositions embracing swing, cool jazz, funk, salsa rhythms & reggae, with some very catchy accessible melodies.
