About The Tears

The Tears was an English rock supergroup formed in 2004 by former Suede members Brett Anderson and Bernard Butler, alongside Will Foster (keyboardist), Nathan Fisher (bassist), and Makoto Sakamoto (drummer), who had previously worked with Delicatessen and Lodger. The collaboration between Anderson and Butler was highly anticipated, and their early concerts and sole album, "Here Come the Tears," received positive reviews from critics. The band was short-lived, disbanding in 2006. Following the split, Anderson pursued a solo career before reuniting with Suede in 2010, Butler focused on work as a producer, and Foster contributed as an additional musician for the Fratellis from 2008 onwards.
