About The Soul Movers
The Soul Movers is an Australian soul/rock band based in Sydney, New South Wales. The band was formed in 2007 by guitarist Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) with vocalist Lizzie Mack. In 2015, Murray Cook (ex-The Wiggles) took over guitar duties and with Mack, the group have continued to record and tour, releasing three albums for ABC Music / UMA: Testify! (2017), Bona Fide (2019), and Evolution (2021). In 2023, the group moved to Cheersquad Records (Melbourne), and released their fourth album Dumb Luck.
