About The Science
There are three bands with the name “The Science”. 1. From Las Vegas, Nevada, The Science is a 4-piece rock band. The group was started in mid-late 2006, and the year 2007 is looking very promising. Their only release, a four track EP entitled “Oikofugic” came out on the 8th of August 2005 through the now defunct Scottish Independant Label Wickerman Records. They disbanded in April 2006. 3. From Bulgaria. METHLAB introduce a slice of haunting vocal electronica in the form Bulgarian collective THE SCIENCE, delivering THE SEA AND I EP - a triage of ultra-refined sonic narratives that introduce the other-worldly vocals of VIARA POPOVA, a singer with a unique tone reminiscent of Bjork but utterly distinct, to the international scene to illustrate an awe-inspiring world of darkly tinged elegance.
