There are multiple artists named The Scholars. 1) THE SCHOLARS, an English indie band (2007 - present) The Scholars are an English Alternative Rock Band from Oxford. They combine conventional Alt/Rock with elements of new wave, post-punk and electronica to create music that is as intricate and varied as it is accessible. In April 2011 they released their debut EP entitled "Arrival/Departure" which is currently available in limited edition at their live shows with an iTunes release impending in late Spring.
