About The Salts
There are (at least) two bands called The Salts: an American indie-rock band and a UK-Australian folk-rock combo. The American band, also known as The Summer Salts until 2009, broke up in March 2010 after having released 3 albums: "Do A Somersault" (2008), "Broomstick Rock Star" (2009) and "Just a Pinch" (2010) - all of which can now be downloaded for free from www.thesummersalts.com/ The UK-Australian folk-rock band of the same name is still going strong with its unusual sea-shanty influenced playlist at the time of writing (April 2014) with one album, "She Rises", now on sale at its gigs and on its site www.thesalts.co.uk/.
