About The Rescued
Two bands go by the name of "The Rescued" 1. Not quite your average Christian metalcore band, The Rescued plays music which is authentic at the same time as innovative. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia where the music scene isn't getting very much attention, The Rescued hope to bring the people to the south for their fix of brutal riffs, melodic solos, hardcore breakdowns, and the things which put horns in the air and people in the pits. "Silence your murderer" and "throw it up" cuz The Rescued are ready to crack skulls and break faces. 2. "The Rescued" is a worship band consisting of Cameron Weatherford, Guitars/Vocals; Kayla Ash, Vocals; Dave Powell, Bass; and Nick Griffin, Drums (according to their Official Myspace http://www.myspace.com/therescuedworship). They released an EP in September 2008 on iTunes called "Rejoice - EP" which includes 5 original Christian praise songs. Their most recent shows consist of being the Praise & Worship band at the MFuge camp in Charleston, South Carolina
