1) The Overload (Solo project by Califlower \,): The Overload is a Solo music project by multi-instrumentalist Califlower \, who makes pscyhedelic pop and art rock music started in 2023 in California. He sings, plays Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards and some Saxophone all recorded and mixed with a multitrack recorder. He uploads all of his music to bandcamp with albums released like All Of Tomorrow's Tragedies and Stagnent Clouds. 2) The Overload (Oxford band) Formed 2018 A band of four which combines heavyweight guitar and drums with lyrics which feature a complexity and delivery reminiscent of John Cooper Clarke on steroids. https://www.oxfordmusic.xyz/bands/overload one of the best fresh on the up bands to come out of oxford in a good while ... take the The Clash /Prodigy/Sleaford Mods topped with poetical vocal statement of the 21st century & you have The Overload ! https://www.facebook.com/TheOverloadOxford Arthur wrote some poems and wanted to put them to music. Arthur and Jake decided to form a band while working in The Bullingdon Arthur met Darren and started practicing in Master Rythm Studios. Darren learnt the bass and then his business partner Raff joined in on drums. The lineup has changed a bit and now Jimmy Evil Hetherington (he's nice really) is on guitar.
