About The Moonjacks

Moonjacks began playing in 1962 as The Currents and hailed from Stockholm. In 1965 they won two pop competitions at Johanneshov and Nalen and got a record deal with Decca. The first single includes two great songs in quite different styles. The A-side’s Come On is rolling down like a commuter train leaving the station and I Remember Her Smile is just one of those great melodies from the 60s. Moonjacks kept on for two more singles before they split up in 1967. Singles: 1965 Come On / I Remember Her Smile (Decca, F44439) 1965 But Until / I’m Around (Printed in five copies to the band members with a hand-drawn cover, Decca, F44448) 1965 But Until / With God On Your Side (Decca, F44448) 1966 You Don’t Love Me Anymore / It Ain’t Me Babe (Decca, F44513) Members: Claes Wang – Vocals (Born July 2, 1947) Dan Myhrman – Bass (Born November 4, 1946) Göran Karlsson – Drums (Born?)
