About The Montanas
There have been more than one band called the Montanas. The best known is probably the UK harmony pop band from the UK in the 60's, produced by Tony Hatch. They were formed in Dudley, Worcestershire. A couple of members were later in Trapeze. There is also a band from Leeuwarden in The Netherlands with that name. They have been founded in 2007. The brothers Sy, Christobal and Enrico Montana are the members. In Dutch they describe themselves as: "Wat wij ten gehore brengen varieert van ouderwets gruizige roch & roll tot zoetgevooisde ballades, maar is altijd doorspekt met mannelijke emotie, ingehouden woede en aandoenlijke hulpeloosheid.
