About The James Boys

Not sure where they all come from (I think Missouri) but I know they are not The James Boys of years ago which recorded the song "Back Rub". These James Boys are in the here and now. Their duet recordings with Rock Hall of Famer Johnnie Johnson in 2005 was their entrance onto the world scene. Then their solo record "A Real Good Rocker" came along in the aftermath of that. The James Boys style is hard to describe but there's a bit of classic rock, a bit of roots, really hot guitar and piano, a bit of Beatles, a bit of contemporary hard driving rock and blues. Humor runs through many of their songs and their live show is supposedly quite good, entertaining and funny.
