About The Hunches

The Hunches are Ben Spencer (of the The Real Pills), Hart Gledhill (of The Conmen), Sarah Epstein (of the The Flip Tops) and Chris Gunn are (also of The Conmen and The Rudy Blacks), a Trashcan Garage Punk band from Portland, Oregon. They've released five singles from 2002 to 2006, and three full length albums out on In The Red records. Yes No Shut It in 2002, Hobo Sunrise in 2004, and Exit Dreams in 2009. The Hunches split in '09 after the release of Exit Dreams and a farewell tour. Gunn moved to San Fransisco and continued his collaboration with The Hospitals, Spencer reunited with The Real Pills, and Gledhill returned to school to finish his degree. 2010 saw a child on the way for Epstein, and Gunn's announcement that he would be returning to Portland. Nothing is confirmed, but this could mean a Hunches reunion and possibly new material in 2011.
