facebook | bandcamp Formed In: 2011 Hometown Location: Tyler, Texas Genre: Deathcore | Hardcore Record Label: Unsigned Contact Info | Bookings justinmehan1@yahoo.com Band Lineup Mitch Howie :: Vocals Justin Mehan :: Bass Trevor Harris :: Drums Derek Terry :: Guitar Biography Album Review:The Dialectic- Alluvion EP Demonic Deathcore 3.5/5 It’s no surprise after nearly a year of writing and developing the “Unholy Alliance”, The Dialectic are making a name for themselves with their debut EP “Alluvion “ and well on their way to local scene domination. This EP is brutal to say the least with haunting sequences on every song that just sound plain evil setting the mood and adding that little bit of flavor that makes a moment an experience. “Unsight“ is a blunt and bold statement declaring that what you see is what you get and they’re here to stay. The title track is a slow and low omen of brutality leaving the search for salvation a barren path.”Tabula Rasa”, Alluvion’s strongest number is hyped up with remorseless energy and demonstrates everything The Dialectic does well. The whispers of the final break down wrap the listener by the throat for a vicious assault leaving you fighting for your life. Front man Mitch Howie gives his all demonstrating his growl n’ roar on ”Death Rides Upon A Pale Horse” with face melting patterns and overlays he contributes to some of the EP’s heaviest moments. The closing track “Disgust for the Weak” will create a whirlpool of violence in every direction especially on the mosh call, “So this is where you stand when your lord’s dead and gone.” The Dialectic ends their debut with a devastating aftermath. This Release has all the potential in the world and if The Dialectic continues to focus on writing the best music they can and continue to be true to themselves, these guys and their solid EP will be untouchable. [Self-Released 2012] By: -Seth Villagran The Dialectic yet another brutal ass group coming out of Texas, these guys are straight up classic deathcore that packs an outstanding punch that will leave your ears ringing for days! Their vocalist Mitch has an utterly amazing and truly devastating voice, not only are his lows incredibly demonic but it will make you want to kill everything around you. Judging by their EP "Alluvion" you know that these guys mean business, they are probably one of the most brutal sounding underground bands ive heard yet, from their crunchy chugs to their overwhelming breakdowns if you are into everlasting brutality then this band is for you! check them out! and buy their tunes on Itunes I have no idea why these guys haven't been discovered give them some more exposure! ♥ ~Anthony-Of Deathcore Band Reviews.
